When putting together this blog piece, it’s evident there’s a lot happening in and around the North West. In our bar we’re also getting set for summer by updating our live music schedule for the summer months. Through June, July and August we’re going live music 7 nights with a great mix of acoustic, Traditional Irish music, Swing Jazz and Trad. fusion. Saturday nights are left open for touring musicians and special guest performances throughout the summer months. We'll keep you posted on these as they are announced.
We’re very fortunate to have such a talented lineup of musicians living locally and we’re equally as excited to have them join us regularly in our historic pub. You can download our full schedule from our website here
Music aside, we’ve also been busy designing new Whiskey and Craft beer menus to accommodate our ever growing range of drink choices. When it comes to whiskey, we're putting together a strong Irish and Scottish single pot distilled and single malt aged range. Tasting notes and select tasting platters are also available. As part of our offering, we also offer a number of whiskey infused hot drinks. Not that they're needed in this good weather!
With craft beer, we have a number of rotational taps of craft on draught and a growing bottle range, that sees updates arriving weekly. We believe in choice and so our range also has gluten-free and non-alcoholic options.
More recently in the bar, we've also starting extending our collection of hand crafted and small batch distilled gins. We've had some exciting new bottles recently arrive in from Dingle and Drumshambo distilleries. As we get ready for world Gin day on the 11th. of June, we'll have a growing range on show and pouring.
Summer has truly arrived in the North West along the Wild Atlantic Way. Come join us.
