Closer to home

In our pub, we've recently had a new performing arts event scheduled on the last Sunday of each month from 8pm. The team behind the Dark leaves theatre company have being entertaining locals with Sherlock Holmes plays performed as live radio broadcasts. Eoin Troy and Seamie Mc Gowan have taking up our regular Thursday night live music slot. The lads are no stranger to the local music scene and to Thomas Connolly's. It's great to have them here on a weekly basis playing a great mix of acoustic melodies with regular guest performances joining in. This month we also welcome back

Anthony Mannion, Luke Mercer & Michael Conefrey aka the Wranglers on Thursday 16th of March from 10pm.

Our whiskey heritage

Once a popular public house for bottling whiskey, we've returned to that tradition with a focus on extending our range of premium Irish whiskey and Scotch whisky. Just this week we've introduced some Scotch classics in Oban and Talisker with the Irish Glendalough, Hyde and the the first ever Irish whiskey to be finished in virgin Irish Oak Hogsheads, Middleton Dair Ghaelach joining over 60 premium whiskey choices.

With much to celebrate and also to look forward to, let's raise a glass. Cheers.
