About our historic pub
Last month we were delighted to be invited to a event at Lissadell House, where we had the opportunity to meet with a number of international and national tour operators and to sell Sligo as a destination. It also proved a great opportunity to meet other local businesses in the area and share ideas. Thank you to Gail McGibbon, Constance Cassidy and Eddie Walsh for organising and hosting.
We're delighted to be shortlisted for Whiskey Bar of the year in Connacht this year. A year into this project, we continue to focus on growing our range and offering a great whiskey experience. The whiskey awards take place in Dublin on the 19th of October.
Last Sunday, Micheal McGowan from Aereaphotography visited our pub & shot a live stream of our Old Time Radio play performed by members of the Dark Leaves Theatre Co. It received a great response and we're hoping to do similar streams in the coming months. Check out the full video available over on our Facebook page here.
You can catch the radio play broadcast live on the first Sunday of each month from 20:00 in our historic pub.
We continue to bring in new drink choices to our every growing range. Recently we introduced a new range of premium Irish whiskies from Pearse Irish Whiskey, while also adding to our premium Irish gins with the introduction of Von Hallers Gin, a unique collaboration between PJ Rigney of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin and his German friend Count Carl Von Hardenberg Jr.
Here's to good times. Cheers.
