Whiskey tasting and live music galore for Sligo Live 2018
This year's Sligo Live festival kicks off next week, running from the 24th. of October through to the 29th. of October. In conjunction with this year's festival, we put together a full line-up of events in our heritage pub with plenty of great live music to suit all.
Lough Gill Distillery Whiskey Tasting
Thursday 25th - 7:00pm (€15)
On Thursday evening at 7pm we kick off proceedings with a unique whiskey tasting master class from Ollie Alcorn of our local Lough Gill Distillery. Ollie will introduce their whiskey and talk about the history of the distillery here in Hazelwood, Sligo.

Eoin Troy & Seamie McGowan (Acoustic)

Following our Whiskey tasting we have the acoustic sounds of Eoin Troy & Seamie McGowan from 21:30 with regular special guest musicians joining for a tune.
Friday Afternoon Swing Jazz
Friday 26th - 5:30pm (free)
As we head into the long weekend, we have a full line-up of live music in our heritage pub. Friday kicks off with a double header of live music. Firstly we have Swing Jazz that you can dance along to at 5:30pm with The Old Market Street Swing Band.
Jarlath McTernan & Friends (Traditional)
Friday 26th - 10:00pm
Our Friday evening music sees the return of uilleann piper Jarlath McTernan & friends for a Irish Traditional music session at 10pm.
Charlie McGettigan, Brendan Emmett & Gerry Grennan (Folk/Bluegrass)
Saturday 27th - 10:00pm (free)
Original members of the group Jargon (Charlie McGettigan, Brendan Emmett & Gerry Grennan re-unite for a night of folk and bluegrass tunes in our heritage pub.
Bank Holiday Sunday Seisiún
Sunday 28th. - 9:30pm (free)
Our Bank holiday Sunday Seisiún brings together some of the best Irish musicians in our region. Led by Leonard Barry, Brian Mc Donagh (Dervish) & Rick Epping (Pumpkinhead/Unwanted).
Bank Holiday Monday afternoon Session
Monday 29th - 2:00pm (free)
On Monday afternoon we are very pleased to have the Sligo winners of this years All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil Na hEireann join us for an afternoon traditional session at 2:00pm

We wrap up our Bank Holiday weekend schedule of live music with one of our most popular nights of live music. Join Kieran Quinn, Seamie O'Dowd and special guests for a night of great music.
